Utopia

Jumbly Mamba
As Rutger Bregman's explains in his bestselling book Utopia for Realists, thanks to the triumph of capitalism, many of us now live in what would have once been described as a  as a Utopia. But in spite of this fact, there is a great deal to be desired about modern society. We lack a shared spiritual framework, let alone any kind of shared sense of a new utopia towards which we might together sail. It is time to change this.

It is clear that people across the UK need and want change. This fact has been clearly expressed in the vote to leave the European Union, with its slogan of ‘take back control’. However, the real change we need – political, economic, social and ecological  - won't happen just because we are leaving, and it certainly won't happen under the direction of Boris Johnson.
